Netflix Brand Extension Project

May 6, 2016

I worked on a team of six to create a hypothetical brand extension for the streaming service Netflix. Our brand extension idea was a forum type app called Flixchat, which was designed to allow Netflix users to discuss the programs they watch on Netflix. Our team created a hypothetical campaign using TV spots, magazine ads, social and guerrilla marketing. We created a campaign book that outlined our strategy and we created mock-ups for the hypothetical advertisements. The Netflix brand extension was the capstone project for my undergrad advertising course work at SDSU. Our group received an A on the project.

Boy Scouts of America Campaign Project

November 10, 2015

I worked on a team of four to create a marketing campaign to promote the Boy Scouts of America. The deliverables for the campaign for three print ads, three online banner ads, one billboard, two out of home ads, and three non-traditional items.  Our team focused on the message that by joining the Boy Scouts your son will become a morally upright human being. I created mock-ups for the two out of home ads and one of the non-traditional items (a frisbee). Our group received an A on the project.
